SUR girl Gauri Karnik makes a come back

Remember the curly haired beauty, Gauri Karnik, who disappeared after her first Hindi film SUR with singer-cum-actor Lucky Ali ?? Well the girl is all set to return, this time to the small screen with Specials @ 10.Gauri will be seen playing the title character of Rewa in the Heroine series from Madhur Bhandarkar on Specials @ 10. Rewa is the illegitimate daughter of yesteryears heroine Maya (Aditi Deshpande) who helps revive her mother's fading career. Says Gauri, "I did not quite disappear as I did an international film, a music video with Aamir Khan and a couple of other films, after which I went on a self-imposed break. About Rewa, it was a demanding and hectic experience, but I thoroughly enjoyed the shooting schedule". Rewa also features Nikhil Arya who plays the character of Aniruddha, Rewa's boyfriend.
